Traditionally utilized for fun, celebration, ceremonial song and ritual, the didjeridoo (Yidaki,  Yiraka, ngaribi… name depends upon tribal group) is one of the oldest wind instruments on the Earth.  The aerophone first made of eucalyptus hollowed by termites, was developed by Indigenous Australians at least 1,500 years ago and is now more widely know, even making an appearance on American Idol.  Didjeridoos are one of the best ways to cure sleep apnea, and eliminate snoring and breathing difficulties by strengthening the diaphragm.  Didjeridoos may also be used for healing and to induce a relaxed and meditative state.

Warning: When a didjeridoo is played incredible laughter is often its accompaniment.  – HaHa!
